Generally speaking, each course runs for the following:
Anaphylaxis Training - 3 hours
Patient Deterioration - 2 hours
Human Factors - 1 hour
There are some variables that are dependent upon learner numbers

Absolutely! Face to face training is always our preferred training method.
We are based in Cairns but can travel anywhere in Australia, however there will be additional costs of airfares and potentially accommodation in addition to the training fees.
For this reason, it is generally only cost effective if there are 10+ Learners.

We do! It is understood the need to be flexible to ensure continuity of practice and no impact on patient care.

Costs are variable depending on the number of learners per course, generally the more learners the lower the cost per learner.
We also offer capped pricing for larger practices and departments.

Not at all! we have experience in providing training to all those working in the medical imaging department.
This includes, medical radiation practitioners, nursing staff, radiologists and allied health assistants.
We tailor our training to ensure it is relevant and contextualised to the target audience.

Yes, the anaphylaxis training includes comprehensive education on how to use the two TGA approved adrenaline auto injectors, the EpiPen and the Anapen.
We also provide familiarisation to our learners in the drawing up and administration of IM adrenaline from a vial so they can assist with any anaphylaxis response where autoinjectors are unavailable or exhausted.

The legalities around medical radiation practitioners (apart from Nuclear Medicine Technologists) administering adrenaline are complex and varies depending on your state or territory.
The legalities surrounding the independent administration of adrenaline by MRP is discussed during the training.
